Today I met someone…

Today I met someone, someone who is brave, someone who is passionate and someone who inspired me. We come across people every day, walk past their houses, walk past their businesses, and never even think…I wonder what their story is. If we took a second to think about it and seek out people who have achieved things we dream of everyday, it could take just a few of our worries away and give us hope for our own future.

She had one real passion burning inside her whole life encouraging her to be fearless, bite the bullet and go for her dream. She gave herself a career. Her name is Nicola Mc Kee the founder and owner of ‘My Little Hat Box’. I approached her for work experience and she welcomed me with open arms and enthusiasm to show me the ropes. I love to hear of stories where people grasp their desires and who share the same passion as I do, so I think it’s safe to say, I look forward to finding out more about Nicola and working with her and her absolutely divine collection of hats and fascinators (which I honestly have never seen a customer get so excited over in my life!).

If you know what you want to be, go and meet someone who is actively pursuing their dream, and I truly hope they inspire you.

I completely agree with you ! There are billions and billions of people in this world. Each person has a unique story that makes up the person that they are. It’s such an intriguing thing if we all just really think about it. Sometimes, I feel like society is so focused on themselves that they don’t realize that one of the best gifts of life is getting to know another person’s story. Loved this story so much ! Thank you for sharing. 🙂
